Abbie Wyatt-McGill

Manager, Growth & Partnerships

Abbie is a Growth & Partnerships Manager at Character Lab, where she plays a key role in scaling impactful programs and initiatives, as well as cultivating synergistic partnerships within the youth well-being ecosystem. Additionally, Abbie spearheads the CLIP program, overseeing co-design projects that bring together teens, researchers, and designers; Abbie was an inaugural CLIPster in the 2017 CLIP program.

Prior to her role at Character Lab, Abbie served as a Fifth Grade Science teacher within the KIPP Colorado network. She holds a Master of Arts in Teaching from Relay Graduate School of Education, specializing in Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Instruction. Abbie also earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Saint Mary’s College of California, concentrating in Behavioral Neuroscience. During her time at Saint Mary’s, Abbie was a two-time team captain for the Division 1 women’s crew team, sparking her initial passion for character development and team leadership. Her background in education, social science, and sport reflects her commitment to holistic character development and inclusive engagement.

Outside of work, Abbie can be found exploring the mountains, breweries, and concert venues of Colorado, Montana, California, Utah, and everywhere in between alongside her wife and dog.
