Anthony Yom has been an educator for thirteen years, all of which have been at Abraham Lincoln Senior High School, where he teaches various mathematics classes including Advanced Placement (AP) Calculus AB, Pre-Calculus and Algebra 1 and 2. For this school year, Yom has moved into administration role at Garfield High School but still actively contributes to the Math Department by organizing, managing, and enhancing various departmental activities and professional developments. Yom went to UC Irvine for his undergraduate and went to UCLA to earn two masters degree in education. To Yom, teaching is like planting a seed. In order for a seed to blossom into a beautiful flower, it needs constant care and attention. Similarly, students need sincere care, attention, and love in order for them to be fruitful.
