
Colleen Carey
Manager, School Partnerships
Colleen supports schools and districts as they facilitate research. She surfaces school community needs and puts those needs first as she oversees the creation of tools and processes.
She believes that including staff and student voice throughout the research process is essential to generate meaningful scientific insights.
Before joining Character Lab, Colleen spent many years in the Midwest teaching middle school and high school English Language Arts and eventually moved to Philadelphia to manage program operations at an alternative high school. She holds a Master of Education degree from Marquette University where she specialized in Secondary Education.
In Colleen’s free time, she is frequently listening to music or searching for upcoming concerts. She also enjoys reading and getting outside as much as possible.
