As Partner of UX Strategy, Joy manages and improves user research and design-thinking processes at Character Lab. She is passionate about employing user research to create actionable strategic recommendations in Character Lab’s work with researchers, educators, youth, strategic partners, and employees.
Before joining Character Lab, Joy interned at the Delaware Department of Education, where she facilitated a partnership to elevate student voice in a public school district. Prior to that, she worked as a researcher evaluating the effectiveness of social and educational programs. Joy holds a Bachelor’s degree in Human Services with a Clinical Services concentration from the University of Delaware.
In Joy’s free time, she enjoys exploring new places with friends, doing DIY projects, and being active outdoors.
