Julia oversees internal functions including budget development, accounting, and grant management, as well as supporting legal, audit, and tax functions. Julia is excited about creating sustainable processes that are automated yet agile and user-centered. She also loves a well-designed spreadsheet.
Before joining Character Lab, Julia worked in budget and management consulting for state and local governments, focusing on Health and Human Services agencies and school districts. She excelled at providing concrete tools to address complex financial distress. Julia holds a M.S.W. from Washington University in St. Louis, where she concentrated in Social and Economic Development and specialized in Nonprofit Management.
In Julia’s free time, she enjoys pursuing her many artistic hobbies (singing, dancing, sculpture), practicing hot yoga, playing with her dog, Rocco, and spending time with friends and family.
