Kelly Organ

Director, Research Partnerships

Kelly leads research partnerships and operations at Character Lab. She helps identify and implement best practices in school-based research, integrate youth voice, and center our value of scientific integrity across the organization. She is excited about supporting research on student well-being and ensuring that research is relevant and accessible to educators.

Before joining Character Lab, Kelly supported teachers in effectively implementing action civics programs; before that, she lived in Romania and managed global partnerships for school-based and afterschool service-learning and experiential education programs. Kelly holds an Ed.M. in International Education Policy from the Harvard Graduate School of Education, where she focused on measurement and evaluation of social-emotional learning programs.

In Kelly’s free time, she enjoys hiking, trail running, gardening, cooking, and fixing up her ramshackle old house with her husband.

Kelly’s pronouns are she/her/hers.
